Copthill's U11 Football VII made it to the final of the National ISA Bowl, earning the rank of 14th best in the country.
The team, made up entirely of Year 5 students, showed an abundance of ability and a sporting intellect well beyond their years throughout the tournament, which sets a very high standard for the boys to surpass next year when they are even more fully developed as fooballers.
Having made their way through the regional round, the U11s came up against some extremely strong competition in the group stages. Despite not making it through into the trophy finals, the boys qualified for the National Bowl, beating many tough opponents on their way to the final.
Copthill came marginally short of winning the bowl itself, but made an extremely impressive account of themselves in the process. Congratulations to all involved in both the regional and national competitions.
