Helping busy parents

Extended term weeks

We run extra activities and full week courses, during half terms and school holidays, including a popular Summer school. The timetable for these additional weeks is published in advance to allow parents to plan ahead. Early year’s pupils can attend for approximately 12 additional weeks and Year 1-6 pupils have options for approximately 5 additional weeks.

Before and after school care

To support families and especially working parents, we offer fully supervised extended hours at the beginning and end of each school day.

There is supervision and a breakfast club daily from 7.45am for all ages. Pupils can attend After school care club which runs daily from 3.30 – 6.00pm.   There is also a very popular tea option from 4.30 - 5.00pm.

Summer school

There is a very popular Summer school which has been run for many years by Copthill staff during the Summer holidays. This is open to all present and prospective pupils. It involves many different sporting, craft, musical activities, traditional games and a very popular campover.
