We had an amazing time again in Reception this week. We have been on a river adventure walk and talked about berries that are poisonous and picked blackberries to eat!
We have been learning all about the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” in mathematics and comparing sizes of objects. We loved acting out the story in the forest.
We have learnt the letter sounds m, a , s and had fun blending them into words. We had a visit from the Year 3 cuddly snakes when we were learning “s” and spent time with our buddies outside in the forest.
Our gymnastics lesson was so much fun and outdoor PE was amazing! We have been learning some new songs for our “Harvest Celebration Assembly.” Reception children have such lovely singing voices!
In French we learnt all about “bleu”. Roll on next week for more Reception class fun!
