The Year 4 boys played their first competitive fixture this academic year against Brooke Priory on Thursday 6th May.
All the boys participated in a game of kwik cricket and performed very well considering they missed the whole of last summer developing the technical aspects of the game. Some of the boys bowling was excellent and the line and length of the deliveries were becoming more consistent.
I have to commend how well all the boys conducted themselves during the afternoon in terms of attitude, behaviour and manners – they were excellent.
They are looking forward to more fixtures during the summer term and will work hard to further develop their all-round cricket skills.
