Would you believe it? The Easter Bunny visited Copthill School overnight and dropped all of his carrots instead of the usual chocolate eggs! The children had fun searching around the quad to look for the carrots, before being invited to use a child’s safety knife to cut the carrot into slices, which were carefully counted before being added to a basket. When all of the carrots had been found and sliced the children then went for a lovely Spring walk to find the Copthill pigs. The children helped to feed the pigs some slices of carrots before venturing back to School for their own lunch time. What a fun morning, although we do hope that the Easter Bunny will return with chocolate eggs later in the week….we are very confident he will!
