In Year 1 we really value the importance of regular opportunities for the children to stand in front of their friends and ‘show and tell’. Not only does it build confidence with public speaking it also encourages respectful listening. Each half term we have a ‘show and tell’ theme to support the children’s learning in school. This time we asked for a presentation on number bonds. We have had posters, films, PowerPoints, games and visual aids which have all shown the children’s understanding of number bonds in different ways.
