The Reception children had an amazing Forest School session this week. We have been learning about the Christian traditions of Christmas. We have learnt all about the nativity story and have been rehearsing our Christmas play, “Higgledy, Piggledy Nativity.” The singing is amazing.
During Forest School the children made some environmental Christmas decorations. They had to saw some wood to make some Father Christmas creations which they painted. They also became “Mushroom detectives!” They learnt all about how some mushrooms can be poisonous and looked for lots of different species using their identification keys. Well done Reception, you are all superstars!
