Flatbread and Fun!

Welcome to the Year 2 blog! The Fridays are flying round and before we know it Christmas will be here, the celebration everyone has been waiting for this year.

With a bit more practice it is looking promising that Year 2’s may be cooking roast dinner on Christmas Day as long as you’re happy with some Egyptian flatbread!

This week we looked at some poetry about different animals and even wrote our own poetry about our favourite animal. This included extensive research on the Chromebooks! Some of us went a bit off topic and ended up listening to whale noises!

There were some cold tootsies in Forest School this week so when we had finally lit it there was a big cheer… although I think it was more the excitement knowing there was food at the end of all the hard fire lighting!

Please make sure your children have got their waterproof coats, trousers, hat, scarves and gloves in school with them to make sure they can stay warm when we go outside. Navy thermal layers are also a good idea to help keep them warm.

Have a wonderful weekend!
