Year 1 have been working on their ball skills this week. They have been learning how to catch and throw properly using bean bags and rainbow balls! Although the weather has been cold it has been lovely and sunny and we have spent a lot of our time outside this week. In maths, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and have created some wonderful shape monsters to finish our topic! In English, our focus has been the Diwali story of Rama and Sita. We hope we don’t ever come across a 10 headed monster with twenty arms!! Next week we are dipping our toes into… Christmas!
