It’s beginning to look alot like…

Christmas!! Guess who made it back into the Year 3 classrooms? Those pesky Elves on the shelves. Yes the dreadful duo were received by Santa post on the 1st December from the big man himself assuring us that they would be good and under no circumstances were we allowed to return them back to the North Pole for a third time! Needless to say they were soon up to their old tricks – we caught them on the Fairytale board clinging to their beloved Princess puppets!

It has been non-stop performance rehearsals this week. We don’t want to give away too much, but here is the final line up and the mast in production. It was rather chilly undertaking the painting of it outside but the team did a superb job!

Year 3 have also been showcasing their amazing talents on the pitches for their house matches this week. You can see them in action on this week’s Sports Blog.

Mrs Bell has yet again found some wonderful activities during their Forest School sessions – 3D were told the wonderful story of a Scandinavian robin on its annual Christmastime migration from its northern homeland to Britiain with all the trials and tribulations that it had to encounter and overcome enroute! They carefully drew and used watercolour paints to create their beautiful robin portraits:
