Leaf Threading and Muddy Puddles

It has been a rather wet week at Forest School but this has not stopped the children from joining in with lots of fun activities. They have been very busy jumping in muddy puddles and making the most of the rainy days! They have also used their fine motor skills to thread Autumn leaves onto plastic needles and string. The children practiced counting the leaves and naming the colours. On the drier days the children then used a white board marker pen to tick off Autumn objects found in the woods, on the wetter days they enjoyed rainy walks whilst wearing their waterproofs!
