Another exciting week full of adventures as we explored ladybirds! We have been reading the story of “The Bad Tempered Ladybird” by Eric Carle. We have had some very amusing discussions about times when we might have felt a bit bad tempered ourselves and how we resolved these feelings. There has been a flurry of ladybird themed activities. We have learnt all about the life cycle of the ladybird and looked for eggs, pupa, larva and adult ladybirds in our school grounds. We even made a ladybird home and discussed the best place to leave them outside near lots of delicious aphids!
