On with the show!

We have been so busy with our rehearsals and am pleased to report that the parents and relatives of our perfromers are in for a real treat! Props have been created and tried and tested, costumes ordered tried on and some returned! It’s all sparkle and grime that’s for sure! We have managed to squeeze in daily lessons for maths – focusing on number with extending to the grid method for some and securing the column method for addition and subtraction. We have been serious scientists working with magnets by setting up a fair test to undertake an experiment to try differing metals and materials and predict whether they would attract or repel when placed near a magnet. It was amazing how accurate most predictions were! In our English lessons, we have been continuing with our playscripts from which we have been working on adapting them into a storyboard. Wonderful pictures were drawn and carefully considered stories were written! Oh and we have started our (shhhhhhhhhhh) Christmas cards. A little ahead of time, but better that way!

Mrs Bell has taken the children out for more adventures during their Outdoor Learning – here is what they have been up to this week. Stick characters – aren’t they just delightful?!
