Police Officer Visit

We were delighted to welcome PC Alcoran to the department today to talk to the children about how the police force help the community by keeping people safe and helping them with their problems. PC Alcoran brought in lots of uniform for the children to try on and she showed the children all of her special equipment which she uses to do her job. Even though Mr Campbell had been very good and not broken any rules PC Alcoran popped some handcuffs on him to show the children how they work. The children thought this was very funny and luckily PC Alcoran had the key to let Mr Campbell go again. Afterwards the children were able to join in with some police themed crafts, including making a police officer stick puppet to take home. We are hoping to welcome some more visitors to the department over the next few weeks as we continue to celebrate people in the community who help us.
