There has been much excitement this week with the opening up of the pumpkins! The children had a guess as to what might be inside and although some might have been a little disappointed to discover there were not any baby dinosaurs hidden inside, they were all very interested in the contents! The children used spoons to scoop out the insides and they made all sorts of things including pumpkin soup and pumpkin pancakes. The children then helped to collect the seeds which they counted and used to make some shapes. This took lots of concentrating and the children were all very proud when they completed a shape!
