Recorder recitals, repelling and rambling

We were treated to a wonderful recorder recital during our singing assembly this week. Year 3’s performance was ‘toot’ perfect and very much enjoyed by the rest of the school.

Year 3 have been having great fun with magnets this week. They were soon very familiar with the terms ‘attract’ and ‘repel’ noting how the two poles reacted with each other. Some magnetic magic was created! Then the fun began to find which materials were magnetic – there were many successes!

Look at 3T’s fairytale puppets in production – some lovely creations were made. They were very proud of their achievements!

Further creations were made – these will soon be on the stage for our Christmas production – can you tell what they are?

3T had a fabulous time becoming familiar with their knot-tying and building shelters during their Forest School session – just the skills they need for this rather soggy, wet week!

We had a wonderful Children In Need day with Pudsey ears and tops a plenty! The children loved spending their 50 pence pieces at the Year 5 games’ stalls:

The day was topped off with a beautiful walk along the river with some thought-provoking wellbeing boards that the children read to their buddies and talked about along the way. It was wonderful to see our children taking great care of their little buddies!
