The children have been working hard this week to create simple repeating patterns. In circle time they have been shown patterns using natural materials such as pinecone, conker, pinecone, conker, before being challenged to create their own. There have been lots of opportunities during free play for the children to make patterns with either the natural resources, the peg boards, the cubes or the colourful connecting elephants. It has been wonderful to watch all of the creativity!
