With the snowflakes still falling we decided to put on our waterproofs, wrap up warm and head outside for an adventure in the snow. The children all had a super time playing in the snow, throwing snowballs and making footprints. We looked closely at how the snow had fallen onto the ground, trees and fences before we scooped it up and made snowballs with it! We even spotted some penguins playing in the snow, as the Early Years teachers all decided to wear their penguin onesies! Afterwards we headed back to the setting for a hot chocolate to warm us all up. In the afternoon Mrs Fleming brought some snow inside for everyone to play with. The children thought this was very funny and they enjoyed filling pots and using spoons to make and create with the snow.
