Sock Rabbits

The Forest School children have been very busy taking it in turns to make a sock bunny in the hut. They carefully filled the sock with rice, then tied around an elastic band to make a head before sticking on the googly eyes and a pom pom tail. The children then listened to some facts about rabbits before heading out to explore the field, looking for signs that rabbits are at Copthill. They found lots of rabbit poo! The children learnt that a rabbit house is called a burrow, and lots of rabbit houses together is called a warren. The children loved pretending to jump high in the air like rabbits!
