This week in Reception we have carried on with the caterpillar theme by using the story of “The Cautious Caterpillar”. Our classroom caterpillars have now turned into cocoons and we excitedly await the arrival of our butterflies and their release into the wild.
We have also been talking a great deal about transitions in our lives in preparation for Year 1. We used the story to talk about how Cody the caterpillar felt during her change into a butterfly!
