The Final Christmas Countdown…

We have had a wonderfully crazy last week of term in Year 2 (would you expect anything less?!).

We have been very busy recording our parts for the Christingle Service, which we hope you have all enjoyed; we made festive hats to wear to our fantastic Christmas lunch; we looked amazing dressed up as Santa for our Santa Run; we loved the pantomime (thank you CSPC) and have tried to invent our own – one or two budding theatrical directors in the making for sure!

The children will be bringing their pencil cases home – please could you ensure that they are fully restocked for the new term – you would be amazed at how many pencils can get lost in the space of just one day!

Coats and waterproof trousers will be coming home also – please could you wash them and send them back in on the first day back – they, along with gloves, hats and scarves are vitally important as we will go outside whatever the weather!

We have had a fantastic first term, despite it being somewhat different and would like to thank you for your understanding and support in these interesting times.  The children have adapted beautifully to the slightly different routines and ‘rules’ and have, in true Copthill style, continued to make the most of all the opportunities that are available to them.

We hope that you stay safe and manage to have a wonderful Christmas, in whatever form that may be and we look forward to seeing you again in 2021.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
