The U10A team travelled to Stamford School on Wednesday to take part in their first match of the season in the primary prep school festival.
There were over 7 teams in attendance during the afternoon, all of differing abilities.
The boys knew they were up against some very strong schools being placed in the A league, but they certainly lived up to the challenge!
The boys played absolutely magnificently throughout the whole afternoon and should be extremely proud of their achievements! The started against Witham Hall, beating them 15-0 and then went on to play Stamford JS convincingly beating them 20-0 and completely dominated both matches. They then went on to play Bilton Grange and narrowly lost 10-5 and then went on to beat Laxton JS 20-5 and they lost their final match against Leicester GS conceding a try with the final play of the game 20-15.
A tremendous effort from every single boy and they should be extremely proud of their achievements!

The U10B squad arrived at the Stamford Rugby Festival untested and perhaps a little apprehensive. They left, five immense games later, with head high, lots of excited chat and a few battle scars to show off!
