It has certainly been a long time since the boys have played a competitive fixture against another school and this was a very welcome sight!
The year 5&6 boys mixed to form 3 teams against Brooke Priory at Copthill on Wednesday 5th May. The weather wasn’t great and the boys were a little chilly and wet at times, but h this did not dampen their spirits and they all played fantastically well!
The A team played 2 matches within the allotted time, winning one and losing one. The B team also played 2 matches and won them both. The C team played one and won.
Credit must go to all the boys, particularly missing the whole of the cricket season last year. We have a couple more fixtures this term and hopefully the weather will be on our side.
Well done to all the boys for a super performance and great results.
