The ‘A’ team showed great commitment throughout the tournament. They grew in both strength and understanding as the tournament progressed. Remi, Harry W and James M all captained the side, showing very pleasing leadership qualities. Joshua, Remi, Harry W and Thayer showed great commitment in the tackle, whilst Hamish, Harry E and Joshua all showed impressive power in bursting through the defensive line. Oliver and James M both showed good handling skills and understanding of the need to keep the defensive line. Quick, accurate passing was particularly pleasing and allowed Remi, Thayer and Harry W to be released early, when they were very hard to stop, choosing great angles to cut through defences.
