The U11A boys hockey team played host to Ratcliffe College on Wednesday 8th March.
They were a very well organised team who possessed a lot of skill. Copthill started brightly but were undone by a couple of goals shortly before the break which meant they were a couple of goals down. They then scored 2 really good goals which brought them back into it at 4-2.
The final score was 9-3 to Ratcliffe. Unfortunately the goals conceded by us were poor and the boys know better than to try and play through players and back away!
I hope to they can find some form for their final game of the season against Witham.
