We have had another fantastic week with a great adventure full of bears! The story of the week has been, “We’re going on a bear hunt” by Michael Rosen. We have had such fun bear hunting in the outdoor areas and acting out the story together.
We have learnt all about bears in different parts of the world and made some fantastic bear artwork.
We have also been discussing our feelings at different parts of the story and talked about facial expressions. We had great fun making our own bear masks and adding expressions.
In maths we have been partitioning teen numbers into tens and units. We have had a great time using our 10 frames and guessing the amounts of objects.
In PE we are getting ready for “Sports Day”! We are developing our skipping skills, practising balancing the egg on the spoon and relay racing! We can’t wait to show you!
