As part of their Ancient Greek topic this term, Y5 have been learning about the Ancient Greek Olympics and how they compare to modern day ones. We chose different cities to compete for (Athens, Sparta, Corinth, Argos) and competed in sprinting and javelin- choosing our own ‘stick javelins’ from the woods. Athens were victorious!
