On a breezy afternoon the Yr3&4 girls embarked on their House Matches. There was a lot of excitement in school in the morning leading up to this event. It’s wonderful for the Year 3s to have their first match experience in school, whilst the Year 4s have the chance to be pivotal within their 5 aside team.
Once again the House Captains stepped up and rallied the troops. They made sure rotations were fair to ensure all the girls had the chance to play against every other House.
The netball was enjoyable and the crowd really got involved, with lots of positive cheering and encouragement. Whilst the children had their eyes firmly set on the cookies at the end, it was the honour of the Burghley House Captain to pick up the trophy this year and be crowned champions! Well done.
