It’s been a rather strange week in Copthill but in our inimitable style we don’t panic and carry on! Apologies for the rather brief blog this week but it doesn’t reflect the huge amount of learning, fun and exploring we have been doing!
It was all about Perimeter this week and we took the children out on a rather cold morning to measure the perimeters of different school areas. It’s always great to bring their learning into real situations.
We have some intrepid mathematicians in Year 3 who also enjoyed creating some zoo enclosures using their knowledge of perimeters, there were some lucky penguins, crocodiles and lions!
