Year 1 were immersed in a magical day of fairy tale adventures as they dressed up in amazing costumes and busied themselves in their fairy tale castle. The day involved an abundance of fun and creativity. There were a range of amazing experiences that the children were involved in. They made leather purses, magical potions, fairy tale bracelets, clay models of dragons and trolls and ink to then use with quills to write on scrolls. The afternoon was filled with exciting activities that included jousting, acting, singing, dancing and juggling and finally a fairy tale wedding that included a feast and drinking from goblets before enjoying the magical cakes that the children had decorated earlier in the day.
