An Arctic Expedition!

Another exciting week has flown by for our Reception children. We have continued our “Polar Regions” topic by researching different animals that live in cold climates. This week we have looked closely at the Arctic Fox. We have thought about interesting words to describe the foxes, made collages and investigated the food that they eat, how they survive in the cold and their habitats.

We have been busy in maths learning about the composition of certain numbers and performing addition sums.

In Read, Write, Inc, we have been learning all about x, ng and nk. We made some lovely “things on a string!”

Forest School has been very exciting as we are making bird feeders to help our feathered friends survive the winter. We are using lots of different tools.
