We have completed the final week in our exciting topic “Help is at Hand”. This week we have been thinking about how we can be helpful at home and school. We have thought about how we can help by looking after our pets and what to do when they get ill. We have played at being vets and talked about a pet that we would like to have ourselves. We went on a trip to the farm to talk about how we should care for these animals too.
In literacy we have been learning the letters “u” and “b”. We have done some great word building, made umbrellas and decorated breadstick batons.
During Forest School we roasted our apples with cinnamon and brown sugar over the fire. They were delicious!
