This week the children have been listening to the story The Three Billy Goats Gruff. They have been recalling the story using small world toys and stick puppets and sequencing the different goats in height order. The children have also been encouraged to try and build some bridges! Inside the children have used the resources in the play trays, including pieces of wood to make their bridges. They have also experimented with the wooden building blocks. Outside the children have used the various construction materials and loose play resources to make bridges. Some bridges have been big enough for the children to balance along and there have been lots of goats and trolls crossing over them!
