This week has been filled with dinosaur adventures! We have been reading a story about a caveman called Togg who finds a huge egg that hatches into a dinosaur. He calls the dinosaur Leftover as it belongs from the Jurassic period.
We have been learning about the different types of dinosaurs and thinking about how their bodies were adapted to their habitats and what they eat. We have hatched our own dinosaurs from clay and made dinosaur skeletons out of pasta. We have even written about the story and played imaginative “Togg and Leftover” games.
We have been on exciting fossil hunts and learnt about how they were created underground.
