Year 3 have faced the judges with their healthy biscuits this morning in the Dragonista’s Den!
What a build up it has been in the run up to each group giving their pitch. Their biodegradable packaging was designed and developed into the final version from their prototype. The product designers ensured that it was large enough to hold their delicious treats and displayed all the key features for the marketing of the product. They developed their presentation using their IT skills for their google slides for their pitch and of course the bakers enjoyed adding their secret ingredient to the recipe.
Here are our judges – Mr Teesdale, our Head Boy and Head Girl. They tasted biscuits which contained either mango, honey, raspberry, strawberry, lemon and lime and chocolate chips. It was a tough task to face! So many tasty biscuits, brilliant pitches and fabulous packaging!
It was a tough call but taking everything into consideration, the judges unanimously decided that Mango Melts were the winners! The winning recipe will be used to treat the whole school to the biscuits later in the year. Well done Year 3!
