Year 5 and 6 experienced the wonders of Earth and beyond in an incredible planetarium visit today.
Some explored the stars with a workshop centred around the solar system and the orbits of the sun, moon and planets and others witnessed the changes of life of Earth through time, immersing themselves in a journey from what life would be like on Venus’ extreme climate all the way through life on Earth, the CO2 in our oceans and microscopic impacts each and every living thing has on our home planet.
Who knows, maybe some of our Y5/6 pupils will be the first astronauts to explore new planets or journey to the depths of the oceans. We know they will all be considering their impact on the planet and being responsible citizens to make our world better for everyone.
