The children have had wonderful time this morning, being creative with the flowers and leaves in the play tray. They have selected various natural resources and placed them into a little pots, before using pipettes to add water and giving the mixture a good stir. The children also had fun adding dandelion petals to the playdough and using a variety of tools and shape cutters to mould shapes whilst also looking for the tiny yellow petals now hidden within the dough.
Afterwards the children enjoyed going out on a walk to find some more flowers and leaves around the school so we could recreate another play tray for making potions out in the quad.
