Gatherings of vines clambered up the derelict buildings, engulfing the deserted city which stretched, wasted, ahead. Searching for its next victim, the vegetation took over above the abandoned motorway which once stood strong. Like an imposter, the nature sneaked from building to building replacing the inhabitants of before. Sky scrapers stood as towering statues. Deceased. What could possibly survive this harsh environment?
