It’s a mystery!

What a week – since our star boxes disappeared last Friday, Year 2 have been busy in their teams trying to decide just who to interview to find out what could have possibly happened to them. DC Alcoran came to visit us and we gave her as much information as possible to help to solve the mystery. We even showed her some CCTV footage to help with her investigation. Posters have been made and displayed around the school to prompt any help from any eye witnesses. Further investigations will take place next week as the reporting teams interview potential witnesses and suspects!

Mummies – close your eyes! Here is a sneaky peek of our creations for the very special Mummy in our lives. The children have been busy getting cards and a gift ready for Mothering Sunday.

The tools were out in the woods this week! We made some lovely spinning tops and some other games using resources that were available to us within our surroundings.

Fraction of shape, building fraction walls and finding equivalent fractions have been this week’s mission in maths this week. Fraction work will also continue next week!
