The Reception children had a lovely time at the French Breakfast this morning! They donned their special French party crowns and sampled a variety of breakfast treats including chocolat chaud, croissants, brioches, baguette, and even brie for the more adventurous ones! They tried very hard to remember to say “s’il vous plaît” and “merci” – it was just like being in a Parisian café, especially with accordion music playing in the background and French flag bunting decorating the room! Afterwards they all enjoyed playing a French playground game called “Petits poissons” and had a go at playing the accordion too – ooh là là! Bravo tout le monde!
