The children have been thinking really hard about different types of minibeasts, where they live and how they survive. They have looked carefully at their bodies and why they have different parts. The children looked for creatures and discussed the different adaptations such as, pincers, warning colours, stings, camouflage colours, hairs etc.
The children then made their own creatures out of natural materials and recorded them on paper with the reasons why they chose different body parts!
