This week we are learning about woodland birds. At Forest School the children have been using binoculars to try and spot some birds and nests in the trees. Today the children watched some clips of birds building nests before having a go at building a little nest themselves. The children were able to select from a variety of materials to add to their clay base. Many children also made a little clay chick to add to their nest. There was even a real nest to look at for ideas! The children all really enjoyed this activity and once the clay is dry they will be able to take their nests home.
