How great to be back! We have all had a fabulous holiday and have got straight back to learning! In maths we have been doing some wonderful learning about arrays, multiples and using our reasoning skills in our maths class this week. The children had to think very carefully to meet the given criterion and select the suitable digit to complete the task. Times table knowledge was very helpful for our tasks this week!
On with our new topic on Healthy Eating this half term – we have been learning all about the importance of eating the rainbow and identifying different food within the varying catagories of the food pyramid. In art this week some children perfected their sewing skills whilst others tried it out for the very first time – our felt, stuffed fruit and vegetables are most impressive! We also produced some wonderful still life paintings of fruit and vegetables using watercolours.
