The Nursery and Pre School children have been listening to the story ‘Pumpkin Soup’ and talking about why it is nice to take turns and share with friends. They have also been exploring pumpkins in the play tray and recreating the story. The children have been encouraged to collect and count the seeds and match the amounts to the numbers around the tray. The children have also been able to spot the different shapes cut out from the pumpkins as well as play with all if the messy pumpkin pieces!
