Today we met the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood and we thoroughly enjoyed making our wolf masks. Wearing our Big Bad Wolf masks allowed us to truly experience the fairy tale character. After asking the Big Bad Wolf some questions, we learnt all about writing questions with ‘how’, ‘why’, ‘when’, ‘what’, ‘where’ and ‘who’ and the all important question mark. We found out that he goes to bed at midnight and enjoys howling! Lots of the children enjoyed hot seating and answered the questions very seriously. It helped the children to know the character of the Big Bad Wolf better and was useful in encouraging them to use their imagination.
