That time of year again – Sports day! We were so so lucky that the weather cleared for the afternoon and meant that we could go ahead with sports day. Everyone did an amazing job and had a lot of fun, you should all be super proud of yourselves.
In maths this week we have been looking at position and direction. Miss Gardner’s group had a lot of fun using the chromebooks to give directions to an online Bee bot. A super job well done and great partner work!
As part of our ‘Going Wild’ topic, we have introduced the children to a new story. Miss Gardner and Mrs Underwood hid the front cover from the children and read it to them, whilst this was happening the children were asked to draw what they pictured was going on in the story. Some of them recognised the story but those who didn’t did a great job at picturing the characters and settings. The story was ‘Where the Wild Things Are’.
