We had an amazing time at Sacrewell Farm this week. We visited all the animals and the tiny piglets were an added treat. The tractor ride was bumpy but great fun and we learnt all about agriculture and a variety of crops. The pond dipping was fascinating and the trip to the working mill building very informative.
We have also been learning all about “The Hungry Caterpillar”. Measuring playdough caterpillars and ordering their sizes was a fun challenge. We went on a symmetry hunt in the school grounds with our mirrors and wrote shopping lists for the caterpillar in the story. Our caterpillar story writing was enjoyed bey everyone. What a great time we are having!
