The children have been very busy using paper shapes to create some houses. As well as learning basic shape names the children have also been developing their language skills by describing their own homes as well as using positional language to describe where they are going to put their doors and windows. The children have also been using rectangular sponges to create some brick paintings. The children enjoyed this activity, especially pressing the sponge into the different coloured paints to create a colourful brick!
