The children have loved exploring our new space role play area as we prepare to start our new topic ‘blast off’. The children have been dressing up in the costumes as well as pretending to fly the rocket to far away planets. The new role play has numbers to spot, planet names to read, stars to count and even a rocket full of controls to fly! There are also some other props to support imaginative play including pop it planet toys, fact cards, silver foil blankets (perfect for hiding under) and lots of themed story books.
