We have had another action packed week in Reception with lots of spooky happenings. After our spooky walk outside looking for environmental objects we made some magic spells in our cauldron. We found sticks to make some wands to cast spells.
We have been carving our pumpkins and learning about how to grow them from seeds. The story of “Funny Bones” was very amusing and we made some great skeleton masks and did some fabulous chalk drawings and writing about the story.
We really enjoyed our “sh” sounds work. We did some shell printing, shiny shapes and pictures. Every day in Reception is so exciting!
